The Association of Family Medicine Residency Directors (AFMRD) presented the Program Director Recognition Awards during the AFMRD Annual Business Meeting, April 2 in Kansas City, Missouri.
The AFMRD Program Director Recognition Awards recognize individual program directors for continuous learning and improvement through scholarly activity; peer and professional development and recognition; and commitment and service to the specialty and to medical education. GAFP member, Monique Davis-Smith, MD, Residency Director at the Medical Center of Central Georgia/Mercer University School of Medicine was awarded the Bronze Program Director Recognition Award.
